Brokn - AI-Powered Community Issue Reporting

Brokn is an iOS application that enables users to photograph broken infrastructure and community issues, using artificial intelligence to identify the problem, rate its severity, and route reports to the appropriate agency. We are committed to protecting your privacy and maintaining transparency about how we handle your information.
This Privacy Policy describes our practices regarding data collection, usage, and protection. Please read this policy carefully before using Brokn.

When a report is routed to a government agency or service provider, we share only the information necessary to process the report: the photo, location, AI-generated issue classification, and severity rating. We do not share your personal device information with agencies.
Brokn uses AI services to analyze photos and classify issues. Images are processed through secure AI APIs. We select AI providers that meet our security and privacy standards.
Reports may be forwarded to relevant government agencies, utility companies, or property management services. These entities have their own privacy policies governing how they handle reported issues.
We use mapping services to display report locations. Location data shared with mapping providers is limited to what is necessary for display purposes.
Report data (photos, location, classification) is retained for as long as the issue remains open or unresolved, plus a reasonable period afterward for historical tracking and analytics.
After an issue is marked as resolved, report data may be retained in anonymized form for community analytics, pattern detection, and service improvement purposes.
You may request deletion of your report data at any time by contacting us at jarbon@gmail.com. We will process deletion requests within 30 days.
Brokn uses your device's GPS to tag the location of reported issues. Location access is:
You can revoke location permissions at any time through your iOS Settings. However, this will limit the app's ability to automatically tag report locations.
Brokn is not directed to children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we become aware that we have inadvertently received personal information from a child under 13, we will delete such information immediately.
